Chiyo Moriuchi

CEO and Executive Director

Prior to joining Friends Village in 2019, Chiyo cultivated her strategic and managerial skills through a long career in international finance and real estate. Her interest in how we grow and age developed as a board member of George School, Medford Leas, and the Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation and caused her to return to graduate school to deepen her understanding of issues of aging.

She is a lifelong Quaker and former clerk of Newtown Friends Meeting. Chiyo holds master’s degrees in Business and Public Health from Columbia University.
