January also happens to be International Quality of Life Month, commemorating reflecting on achieving the highest possible physical, mental, emotional, and social level of health and self.

January is the month to begin reviewing relationships, health, finances, and personal happiness.

    • As we age, relationships begin to disappear or weaken due to changing lifestyles. It is essential to have social interaction, and a circle of healthy & strong relationships has been shown to reduce stress, improve healing, offer a heightened sense of purpose and extend one’s lifespan

    • Remain active & practice healthy habits. Remember to stay hydrated and eat a nutritious & balanced diet

    • A healthy mind & body result from being active & engaged. Also ask yourself if you or your loved one are receiving the proper amount of healthcare

    • Reflection on what makes you happy — are there certain hobbies you enjoy? People that make you smile?
